A lot of people have been made homeless in Tottenham due to recent fires. The Tottenham Help Centre is operating out of Tottenham Green Leisure centre and is now collecting donations for people who have lost everything. It would be awesome if any London hotels or hotels in Tottenham specifically could put up one or two people for free.

Things that are most needed:

  • baby and toddler clothes
  • new underwear of all sizes - both male and female
  • blankets
  • towels
  • baby Food
  • disposable Nappies
  • non-perishable food items

Dear people from Riot Cleanup,

 Allthough I'm not english and I live in the Netherlands, watching the news these last days made me so angry and sad. I was in shock to see this violence totally out of proportion.

I deeply respect this cleanup action you all started  , turning your negative feelings in something positive as an peacefull,practical and strong answer at this riot.
I just want to show you my appreciation and in general I believe we can all learn a lot from your attitude towards hate and aggression in society worldwide.
